Shaina Salman

Shaina Salman is a Legal Counsel at the African Legal Support Facility (ALSF). She has been with the Facility since December 2017 where she works in the Projects Team.

Prior to joining the Facility, Shaina served as a J. William Fulbright Fellow to the Ministry of Justice of Cote d’Ivoire where she worked on post-conflict peace building and legislative drafting.

Shaina is admitted to practice before the Washington, D.C. Court of Appeals and is a member of the Washington, D.C. Bar. Shaina has also passed the New York State Bar and is awaiting admission. She received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from William and Mary Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Economics and Modern Languages from Georgia State University.
